Delivery Items

Do you charge for Delivery?

With the exception of the items detailed on the website as free delivery, we do charge for delivery.  The reason for this is simple, it allows Grant of Buckie to offer you, the customer, incredibly competitive prices.  Indeed, our aim is to offer the lowest prices in the UK.  However, to achieve that aim we are forced to charge for delivery.  We strive to ensure that our delivery charges are realistic and they are reviewed regularly.  For customers within a 30 mile radius of Aberdeen and Inverness the maximum delivery charge is only £25.

Customer collection, by appointment only, is also an option at Keith, Tain and Dornoch.  There is no charge for this service.     

Does the Furniture arrive fully assembled?

No.  All our furniture range will arrive flat packed unless stated otherwise on our website.

Can you deliver the furniture item fully assembled as I am unable to assembly the furniture myself?

The answer to this, unfortunately, is no.  We are unable to deliver items fully assembled for the following reasons:
  • Some of our items are shipped to you directly from our supplier's warehouse.
  • There is a far greater chance of fully assembled furniture being damaged during transit.
  • It may not be possible for items of furniture to get through the front door or up stairwells/cases when fully assembled.
Can you Assemble the furniture for me?

We do offer an ‘Assembly Service’ on request for any flat packed item; however, this service is generally only available within a 50 mile radius of Aberdeen and Inverness.  For further information on our Assembly Service, including prices, please contact us directly.

Returns

What if the goods are damaged?
Items for return should be packed back in there original packing cases.
In the unlikely event that goods are damaged then please contact us immediately to arrange for the replacement/collection of the goods.  We take great pride in our service and will strive to resolve any issues that you may have in a timely manner.   

What do I do if I decide that the Goods I have ordered are not what I expected?


We offer an exchange or refund (minus any original delivery charge) provided that we are notified in writing - by post or e-mail - within 3 days of receipt of goods and that the goods are returned to us unused, in their original packaging and undamaged within 7 days.  Any packages that have been opened by you will have to be reopened , inspected and repacked professionally; consequently, there will be a small charge for this depending on the size of the boxed products.  The customer is responsible for arranging returns and for any costs incurred if there is a delay or interuption of us collecting.  The Customer will receive a full refund  after I inspect the faulty items, in their original packaging and undamaged.  We reserve the right to alter or modify the products or information contained herein at any time in the light of technical or other developments. We can collect returns, if this is more convienent for the Customer, charged at the same rate as detailed on the website for delivery.
